Beverly Hills Egg Donation Honors National Infertility Awareness Week
Posted in: Other, 04/20/2026
Every year, National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW) shines a light on the deeply personal and often misunderstood diagnosis and journey of infertility. Founded by Resolve: The National Infertility and Family Building Association in 1989, NIAW is dedicated to raising awareness, breaking stigmas, and supporting the millions of individuals and families who are navigating fertility challenges.
Although infertility affects 1 in 6 people globally, many of them suffer in silence. Feelings of isolation, frustration, and grief are common — but organizations like Resolve are committed to ensuring that no one faces them alone. NIAW encourages open conversations, education, and advocacy, helping to create a more compassionate and informed community.
For many intended parents, egg donation represents a hopeful path forward, providing a life-changing option for those facing diminished ovarian reserve, genetic concerns, and other barriers to conception. At Beverly Hills Egg Donation, we are honored to support and walk alongside both intended parents and the young women who choose to become egg donors. The generosity of BHED donors is something we never take for granted; their compassion and commitment make family building possible for so many. During National Infertility Awareness Week and beyond, we celebrate their contributions while continuing to advocate for greater infertility awareness, treatment access, and support for our intended parents.
